● You may not ride Knight Bus if You are under 18 years of age.
● You may not ride Knight Bus while under the influence of any alcohol, drugs, medication, or other substance that may impair your ability to safely commute to and from Knight Bus stops.
● Please behave at all Knight Bus stops and on all Knight Bus vehicles in a manner that is respectful of fellow members and operating staff.
● Each Knight Bus pass is intended for use by one person only; You may not authorize anyone else to get on the bus with you using your pass, nor may you carry, tow, or otherwise transport a second person (including a pet) on a Knight Bus.
● You understand that when your bus pass is scanned upon entrance to a Knight Bus vehicle, You are the only one who may board. You may not transfer Your bus pass, or any other unique subscriber information to any other person. You may not share your membership or subscription with any other person.
● Knight Bus is a non-smoking service. Smoking, as well as the use of electronic cigarettes, is not allowed on Knight Bus. Violation of this policy will result in a temporary membership suspension, for which a standard reinstatement fee of $30 must be paid. 3 violations of this policy, and You will be permanently expelled from using Knight Bus.
● You may not violate any applicable federal, state, or local law, or any command or instruction from law enforcement personnel.
● You may not modify, dismantle, write on, or otherwise alter or deface a Knight Bus vehicle or any part of a Knight Bus vehicle in any way. You may not write on, peel, or otherwise modify or deface any sticker on a Knight Bus vehicle in any way. You may not use Knight Bus for any advertising or similar commercial purpose without a written agreement with Knight Bus Inc.
● In the case of poor or dangerous weather or road conditions, including snow, hail, ice, sleet, freezing rain, or electrical storms, which could make it more dangerous to ride ANY vehicle, we advise you to be cognizant of the risks involved with riding Knight Bus. You must limit or adjust Your riding behavior to suit the weather conditions, and You must promptly act in a safe manner and, if it would be necessary and prudent to do so, disembark a Knight Bus vehicle.
● Any guests you bring are also bound by these standards.
● YOU UNDERSTAND AND ASSUME THE RISKS OF YOUR VIOLATION OF ANY PROHIBITED ACT SET OUT IN THIS SECTION. SUCH RISKS ARE SIGNIFICANT AND INCLUDE INJURY OR DEATH TO YOU AND OTHERS, DAMAGE TO OR DESTRUCTION OF YOUR AND OTHERS’ PROPERTY, AND THE POTENTIAL THAT YOU WILL BE CITED OR ARRESTED FOR VIOLATION OF APPLICABLE LAWS.
● IN ADDITION, YOU UNDERSTAND THAT FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE STANDARDS MAY WARRANT SUSPENSION OF MEMBERSHIP AND/OR REMOVAL FROM ANY KNIGHT BUS RIDE, AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF KNIGHT BUS INC.
